Chart 1 (2022 Edition) shows the average performance of index components as a whole compared with much higher average returns from top 34% performers within the index.  

Chart 2 (2022 Edition) identifies returns of top 34% index components over a 13 year time span. Percentages show price gains (annualized) -year over year.

When inspecting a stock chart, the "signature" of top performers may be noticed, indicating a possible  "likelyhood", a favorable trend  of share prices may continue. More so, if stock prices track closely and follow, their annualized price trend red line.
